We are seeking a talented and motivated Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and a passion for helping others resolve their technical issues. As a Helpdesk Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective technical support to our internal employees and external clients. This will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network connectivity problems, and providing guidance on IT best practices.
What you will do:
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Document and track support tickets to ensure timely resolution and maintain accurate records
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices
What we expect from you:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Previous experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, preferably in an IT help desk environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English (written and spoken - Spanish and/or French is a plus).
- Proven ability to solve problems efficiently and work under pressure.
- Curious, self-learned, and passionate about IT.
