Adecco Recruitment is hiring a Head of Talent Acquisition- Porto for an international client in the healthcare sector.

 This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for establishing a visionary and execution driven Talent Acquisition function across multiple European markets. This professional will play a central role in shaping how the organization attracts, engages, and onboards top talent, from entry level hires to C-suite executives.

The role owns the full talent acquisition lifecycle, including onboarding, technology enablement, candidate experience, agency management, and performance metrics, while driving cost efficiency and productivity.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a pan European Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with business goals;
  • Lead workforce planning in partnership with HR Heads, HRBPs, and business leaders;
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all hiring practices;
  • Oversee full cycle recruitment for 2000 hires per year across multiple geographies and functions;
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of 40 TA professionals;
  • Implement scalable processes and tools to support both volume and executive hiring;
  • Evaluate, select, and implement best-in-class TA technologies (ATS, CRM, onboarding platforms);
  • Drive automation and data-driven decision-making across the TA function;
  • Build a world-class candidate experience from application to onboarding;
  • Partner with Communications to elevate employer brand visibility;
  • Monitor candidate NPS and continuously improve touchpoints;
  • Establish and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and potential RPOs;
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure performance benchmarks are met;
  • Own and report on key KPIs time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, offer acceptance rate, and diversity metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and stakeholder feedback;
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align hiring with business priorities;
  • Manage the TA budget and ensure cost-effective hiring strategies

Candidate Profile

  • 10 years of experience in Human Resources;
  • Proven experience leading Talent Acquisition at scale across multiple countries;
  • Strong track record in executive search and high-volume hiring;
  • Expertise in TA technologies and onboarding platforms;
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese; additional European language (Spanish) are a plus;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills;
  • High resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for execution;
  • Collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
