Purpose of the Job
To develop, maximize, and manage sales of Beko Europe Group brands in buying groups and the traditional channel in Portugal. This role is part of the sales organization of the Nº1 Appliance group in Portugal and reports directly to the Country Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive customer portfolio strategy and ensure customer plans are prepared and reviewed during profit planning cycles (monthly/quarterly/annually)
- Contribute to the formulation of strategic deployment plans, business plans, and the profit plan
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for buying groups and traditional channels
- Align budget strategies with the Marketing Director
- Build and develop strong working relationships with trade partners
- Direct sales and technical support activities aligned with the overall sales strategy
- Deliver sales and pricing in accordance with the budget for buying groups and the traditional channel
- Implement product/market segment strategy with defined objectives and targets
- Monitor market and trade conditions, and competitor activity, and adapt strategies accordingly
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across quality, technical support, and delivery timelines
- Define sales policies, objectives, and annual plans; align TPI and commercial policies with the Marketing Director
- Build and manage a high-performing, efficiently staffed sales and distribution organization
- Plan and allocate sales resources within the territory
- Manage and implement HR processes for the sales team
- Foster a collaborative team environment and effective communication
- Accountable for the Commercial SG&A Budget for buying groups and the traditional channel
Roles & Responsibilities
- Grow sales of Beko Group brands within existing channels and introduce brands to strategic customers
- Initiate, manage, and drive sales in line with business growth targets
- Develop innovative customer value propositions to meet/exceed annual sales targets
- Consolidate existing business and drive new business development
- Review sales performance monthly and initiate action plans where needed
- Secure new listings and manage product mix across categories and price points
- Develop strong working relationships with key decision-makers in each account
- Drive focused promotional activity and manage funds efficiently
- Collaborate with product managers for product training at local or central level
- Maintain strong communication with internal departments: product, sales admin, marketing, supply chain, service
- Manage a travel and meeting plan to ensure alignment and performance tracking
- Provide detailed customer performance reports
- Support long-term planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Utilize ERP tools for reporting, performance management, and record updates
Skills & Abilities
- Leadership skills with a strong execution mindset

- Capable of managing distributor and key customer relationships across multi-channel distribution
- Able to influence at multiple decision-making levels
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- High commercial and business awareness
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in White/Brown Goods or Electrical Consumer Durables
- Proven track record managing high-performance teams
