Adecco Recruitment is hiring a Head of HR for an international client in the healthcare sector, based in Porto.

Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Planning

 Align local HR strategies with global priorities and workforce planning needs and roll-out global initiatives

HR Operations

Monitor local performance and KPIs to inform workforce engagement and decision-making

Ensure compliance with local labor laws and adapt Global HR policies to meet local requirements

Harmonize HR processes to support consistent service delivery across the employee lifecycle  Oversee local payroll execution

Talent Management

Manage end-to-end HR talent management incl. recruitment, onboarding, absence and ER aligned with Company procedures & policies

Develop initiatives to attract, onboard and retain critical roles such as radiologists and radiographers, pathologists

Use insights to guide and inform development, engagement and compensation strategies for key roles

Leverage HQ career paths, development plans and retention strategies for critical roles

Execute sourcing strategies for local hires

Manage contracts, benefits and day-to-day HR inquiries

Business Partnering

Act as HR partner to local management teams, aligning people priorities with business needs

Change & Communications

Roll-out global change & comms initiatives locally

Promote the company as an employer of choice through targeted execution of branding and communication efforts

Reinforce Company value proposition through proactive and reactive communication to local media

People Analytics & Insights

Use data and analytics to inform strategic decisions, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Leadership Development

Partner with business leaders to identify and develop future leaders, ensuring succession readiness

Profile

Bachelors degree/Masters in HR management, Psychology, Organization Development or related field

Fluent English (oral and written).

8-15 years of HR experience, including generalist and specialist roles with stints in Healthcare Industry

8-10 years in a leadership position

Experience consulting with and influencing C Suite Executives 

Experience collaborating within a global environment Experience acting as the senior HR business partner for a global business or global function
