Principais responsabilidades
Manages the accounting system, ensuring regulatory compliance and reporting to local regulators, shareholders, and internal departments;
Translates business strategies into objectives and guidelines for the department;
Leads and supervises staff and external providers, setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing feedback;
Oversees resource allocation, budget planning, and departmental activities;
Oversees cash flow, liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rates, loan pricing, and bond & collateral management strategy;
Monitors legal and regulatory developments from a controlling point of view;
Translates business strategies into clear objectives and guidelines for the department;
Manages relationships with financial institutions and investors.
Perfil desejado
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Economy or equivalent;
MBA or master in Finance or related areas;
Experience with bank accounting, controlling and treasury;
Advanced knowledge about regulatory and legal environment (in particular Portuguese banking legislation, CRR, CRD VI, Portuguese Commercial Code, Tax, VAT);
Comprehensive knowledge of asset-side banking products, especially as credit operations and liabilities side (funding products);
Comprehensive knowledge of risk management and asset-liabilities management;
Accounting Principles;
Treasury products and market principles.
