Growth & Operations Specialist
How do you take a robotics company from early traction to scalable growth - while keeping operations tight enough to support it?
A scaling agriculture robotics start-up is building an AI-driven autonomous sprayer designed for protected agriculture, where real-world performance matters more than polished demos.
This team are hiring for a Growth & Operations Specialist to sit at the intersection of commercial activity and execution - helping drive pilots, partnerships, and deployments, while building the internal structure needed to scale.
Your role:
- Support go-to-market execution across pilots, partnerships, and early customers
- Coordinate deployments, field trials, and customer onboarding
- Identify and execute growth initiatives across new segments, regions, and partnerships
- Build and refine internal processes for operations, documentation, and execution
- Track and analyse performance across growth experiments
- Act as a key link between business, engineering, and external stakeholders
- Own grant identification and lead proposal development for Portuguese and international innovation programmes
Your background:
- 3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, growth, or consulting
- Portuguese fluency
- Strong execution mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
- Experience with grant writing or public funding applications
