Details - Hospitality, Sports, Leisure is the platform responsible for managing the Hospitality, Sports, and Leisure areas of Arrow Global in Portugal. It oversees the management of major hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira, Aroeira, and Madeira, as well as golf courses and equestrian centers.


The Groups Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating group bookings and events to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring that all operational requirements are met efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare proposals and follow-ups;
  • Collaborate closely with departments such as Reservations, Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and others;
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients before, during, and after each event;
  • Oversee the full coordination of all groups and events from confirmation through to completion;
  • Manage rooming lists and coordinate meals, meeting spaces, audiovisual requirements, transportation, activities, and any additional requested services;
  • Provide on-site support during check-in and key moments to ensure guest satisfaction;
  • Gather client feedback and identify areas for improvement to enhance future operations;
  • Identify new business opportunities and customer needs to drive sales and increase profitability;


Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar, operationally-focused role;
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of autonomy
  • Team player with flexibility and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, high-pressure environment;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus;
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends on event days;
  • Experience with systems such as Opera and other relevant platforms (preferred).
