Your New Role

A leading security solutions provider is seeking a Group Oracle Cloud ERP CoE Senior Specialist to join their expanding Group ERP Center of Excellence Team. This pivotal managerial role will influence the team's direction and require collaboration with offices in Madrid, Sweden, and Lisbon. The position is based in Madrid and involves direct reporting to the Group ERP GPO.
The role is central to the company's shift from a decentralised to a centralised ERP model, focusing on strategic projects with high ROI. The candidate will play a key role during a transformative phase for the organisation, which is a market leader in Europe and a significant player in LATAM.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the coordination and leadership of support and maintenance operations, including incident and service request management, SLA enforcement, and helpdesk oversight within the support model process.
  • Drive the evolution of the CoE structure, facilitating the transition to an internalized support model powered by Verisure’s own resources, with a vision of team expansion until the final market launch at the end of 2024.
  • Serve as the PMO for a variety of projects post-market launch, including the deployment of the IFRS 16 module across our 18 markets in collaboration with the Lisbon-based Group accounting function.
  • Offer comprehensive expertise in Oracle ERP cloud solutions to aid in system modifications, upgrades, and new releases. This includes leading functional training, validation, and user support initiatives.
  • Assess and integrate new features from Oracle Service Packs (released quarterly) to drive ongoing business process enhancement and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain an in-depth functional knowledge of the cloud solution implemented across the business, with a focus on financial modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Asset Management, and General Ledger.
  • Develop and execute training strategies, delivering training sessions to company stakeholders, validators, and end-users, covering both existing and new functionalities.

What You Will Need to Succeed
We are in search of an autonomous, highly capable individual who merges profound Oracle Fusion Cloud expertise with an action-oriented business approach, aimed at delivering substantial value to the organisation.
  • A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience within an international team in a sizeable enterprise.
  • Deep-seated experience in financial transactional processes, particularly within Oracle technologies, and a track record of leading teams in support/maintenance roles during implementation phases.
  • Robust knowledge of financial processes and operations, coupled with a thorough comprehension of Oracle’s system architecture and its evolving features.
  • Proven experience in guiding teams through ERP support model transformations and the capacity to engage stakeholders at all levels with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in orchestrating teams and managing projects.
  • Acquaintance with compliance and governance protocols.
  • Advanced academic credentials in Finance, Economics, Business, IT, or Engineering.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with proficiency in Spanish or French being advantageous.
