The Global Data Transformation Manager is responsible for managing and delivering the organisation's enterprise data transformation programme across regions, functions and platforms.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving progress, coordinating cross-functional activities and ensuring the successful delivery of key data transformation initiatives

Description

• Manage and deliver the enterprise data transformation roadmap across priority business domains, platforms and regions;
• Support the development and implementation of a practical data operating model, including ownership, governance and standards;
• Drive improvements in data quality, consistency and master data management across the organisation;
• Coordinate business and technical stakeholders to identify priorities, dependencies and delivery plans;
• Establish data governance processes, ensuring accountability for data ownership and stewardship;
• Work with IT, Digital and business teams to simplify the data and platform landscape and reduce duplication;
• Monitor programme progress and provide regular updates on key milestones, risks, issues and business benefits;
• Support initiatives that enable improved reporting, analytics, automation and AI capabilities;
• Facilitate workshops and decision-making forums to drive alignment across functions and regions;
• Manage external partners, vendors and service providers supporting data-related projects.

Profile

• Proven experience delivering data transformation, data governance, master data management or ERP-related programmes within a complex organisation;
• Strong understanding of data quality, governance, stewardship and business process optimisation;
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders across regions and functions;
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into practical delivery plans and measurable outcomes;
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams;
• Experience identifying and managing programme risks, issues and dependencies;
• Excellent communication, facilitation and project management skills;
• Experience within a global manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment;
• Exposure to analytics, business intelligence, automation or AI initiatives;
• Experience working alongside ERP, digital transformation or enterprise systems programmes;
• Knowledge of data management frameworks and governance best practices.
