Description

• Take ownership of general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial close processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Prepare and post accounting entries, including accruals, provisions, prepayments, and other adjustments.
• Review financial records and transactions to maintain the accuracy and integrity of accounting data.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding items.
• Monitor and maintain control, suspense, and clearing accounts to ensure clean and reliable financial reporting.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation activities.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and analysis of key financial movements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to address accounting matters and improve financial processes.
• Contribute to audit activities by providing supporting documentation and responding to information requests.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
• Around 2-4 years of experience in Financial Accounting, General Ledger, Record-to-Report, or a similar finance environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close activities.
• Experience with account reconciliations, financial reporting, and balance sheet reviews.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other business productivity tools.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Additional European language skills are advantageous, particularly Dutch.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering accurate work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Collaborative team player, comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
