Your Company
Our client is seeking a General Accounting Team Leader for a 6-month contract, to join their team in Lisbon and lead key accounting operations.


Key Responsibilities
 

• Supervise daily accounting operations and team Performance;
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs;
• Train, coach, and develop the team;
• Oversee monthly closing and reconciliations;
• Ensure accuracy of postings and compliance with policies;
• Support audits and reporting;
• Drive process improvements and resolve stakeholder queries.

Person Specification
 

• Hold a degree in Accounting, Economics, or similar;
• Have solid knowledge of financial statements;
• Be fluent in English (other European languages are a plus);
• Demonstrate leadership, analytical skills, and attention to detail;
• Be organized, results-driven, and adaptable.

• Professional Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment;
  • Knowledge of IFRS and ERP systems (Oracle is a plus);
  • Advanced Excel skills (VBA is an advantage).
