We are looking for a Fullstack Developer

MAIN TASKS:

• Develop both backend and frontend solutions, supporting the team's development and stepping in when additional support is needed.
• Promote software development best practices, including clean code principles and effective use of available tools.
• Drive change and foster the adoption of best practices in software development.
• Be proactive in continuous development processes, including reviewing specifications and performing peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with different teams to identify improvement areas, provide recommendations, and offer development guidance.

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

• Strong experience in frontend development using Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid knowledge of Java, Java frameworks, NodeJS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and service/event-oriented architecture.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Delivery workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, SonarQube).
• Experience with dependency management tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Proficient in Spring frameworks.

Nice to Have

• Experience with test frameworks such as Jasmine, Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit, and JMeter.
• Experience in Python.
• Familiarity with Hadoop (MapR distribution).
• Knowledge of Spark/Scala.
• Ability to analyze technical documentation.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Kanban, Lean, or SCRUM).
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and Cloud environments.
• Languages: English.
• Hybrid Role in Porto.
