Vila Joya, a charming home of 15 rooms and suites that combines elegant accommodations with exceptional restaurant venues, is searching for an experienced Front Office Manager. This key role requires a dynamic and strong leader to guide the reception team, who are responsible not only for guest check-ins and check-outs and ensure a exceptional stay but also for welcoming and coordinating reservations for our restaurants. As the “heart” of our home, the Front Office Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding guest experience to both hotel residents and restaurants guests.
Perfil do Candidato
We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager who can inspire, lead, and support the team to create a welcoming and seamless experience for every guest.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a Front Office Manager role, ideally in a boutique hotel or similar hospitality setting
- Fluency in written and spoken in 2 languages: English and as a second one either Portuguese or German. Proficiency in any other language is an asset.
- Exceptional leadership skills to guide and motivate a close-knit team, fostering teamwork and professionalism
- Strong skills in guest relations and communication, with the ability to handle all inquiries gracefully and efficiently
- Ability to manage hotel front desk processes as well as oversee reservations and host services for all restaurants
- An eye for detail and a service-oriented mindset, ensuring every guest feels at home
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a varied and high-end clientele, also in working hours.
- Adaptable and capable of integrating into a diverse team.
Overall, as the Front Office Manager, you will take charge of our reception and restaurant reservations, ensuring seamless operations and an exceptional first impression. You will coordinate and oversee all front-office activities, providing support and guidance to the team in managing guest arrivals, restaurant reservations, and creating memorable experiences. A balance of discretion and persistence will be crucial to fulfilling guest needs while upholding the hotel's high standards.
