The Role
This position is offered on behalf of our client, and is focused on strengthening their post-trade application support capabilities.
The Application Support Analyst will provide L1/L2 functional and technical support for applications covering Fixed Income (FI), FX, and Credit instruments, ensuring operational continuity and effective support to business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 application support for post-trade financial systems
- Log, monitor, and resolve incidents in a timely and structured manner
- Collaborate closely with L3 support and development teams
- Coordinate and follow up on maintenance backlog activities
- Actively participate in testing and validation of new releases and enhancements
- Contribute to the continuous update of the knowledge base, improving support efficiency
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to application support and delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in financial markets or post-trade environments
- Knowledge of payments processing, settlements, corporate actions, and collateral
- Experience supporting financial applications (experience with Calypso is highly desirable)
- Strong Oracle SQL skills
- Proven experience in L1/L2 application support
- Ability to manage incidents, priorities, and multiple stakeholders effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear and proactive communication
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Calypso in middle- or back-office contexts
- Exposure to CI/CD or continuous improvement practices
- Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic and complex system landscapes
