The Role

This position is offered on behalf of our client, and is focused on strengthening their post-trade application support capabilities.

The Application Support Analyst will provide L1/L2 functional and technical support for applications covering Fixed Income (FI), FX, and Credit instruments, ensuring operational continuity and effective support to business users.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1/L2 application support for post-trade financial systems
  • Log, monitor, and resolve incidents in a timely and structured manner
  • Collaborate closely with L3 support and development teams
  • Coordinate and follow up on maintenance backlog activities
  • Actively participate in testing and validation of new releases and enhancements
  • Contribute to the continuous update of the knowledge base, improving support efficiency
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to application support and delivery


Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in financial markets or post-trade environments
  • Knowledge of payments processing, settlements, corporate actions, and collateral
  • Experience supporting financial applications (experience with Calypso is highly desirable)
  • Strong Oracle SQL skills
  • Proven experience in L1/L2 application support
  • Ability to manage incidents, priorities, and multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining clear and proactive communication
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)


Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Calypso in middle- or back-office contexts
  • Exposure to CI/CD or continuous improvement practices
  • Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic and complex system landscapes
