We are seeking a Junior Financial Controller to join our Lisbon office. This role will support the finance team in day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of our investment operations.
Principais responsabilidades
- Maintain accounting records for the Portuguese entity, including processing supplier and client invoices and recording financial transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate documentation of all financial movements.
- Support monthly payment runs and ensure adherence to internal procedures.
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations and assist with consolidation processes.
- Prepare monthly financial information for external accountants and internal reporting.
- Assist with external audits and provide documentation as required.
- Support preparation of regulatory reports for local authorities.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the finance team as needed.
Perfil desejado
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, accounting processes, and consolidation.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
