Your new company

A prestigious furniture company is looking to strengthen its team by hiring a Financial Controller (m/f/d) for Aveiro (Northern area).

Your new role

• Prepare financial reports, including cost analyses, profit margins, and budget comparisons.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Develop cost forecasts, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
• Determine fixed costs and plan for variable costs.
• Analyze production costs, identify areas for optimization, and recommend cost-saving strategies.
• Supervise the physical inventory process to ensure accuracy.
• Regularly review standards and actual costs, addressing any inaccuracies.
• Identify effective solutions to optimize financial performance.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Finance or other related fields.
• Professional experience of at least 2 years in a similar role
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of Power BI
• Proficiency in English (mandatory).
