Your new role
Reporting to the CFO
and the general management, the Financial and Controller will be responsible
for all aspects of the company's financial management and control.
This function should
provide key support to management in relation to financial functions including
planning and analysis; investment control; cash flows; financial control,
treasury, audit, tax and information systems.
Main tasks:
- Support the CFO in
the preparation of the annual budget and year-end forecasts. Monthly review of
the company's progress vs budget (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow).
Analysis of deviations and recommendations to that effect.
- Analyse and report
operational data and key KPI's to enable accurate monitoring of business
performance.
- Monthly review of
financial accounts prepared by the accountants (including consolidated
accounts). Develop and/or review analytical accounts for each clinic and
identify corrective actions if necessary.
- Support CFO in the
preparation of quarterly Board presentations
- Generate all
business management reports from the company's ERP (which will help to refine
as necessary).
- Control and
management of Clients and Suppliers, payments & collections.
- Control of working
capital and the performance of the different business lines and departments.
- Administrative and
Internal Control procedures at department level.
- Lead conversations
with auditors and provide them with all the necessary information to carry out
the audit of the Annual Accounts.
- Review Annual
Accounts prepared by auditors/accountants.
- Support in the
development and implementation of the necessary IT systems (ERP).
What you need to succeed
- 5 years of
experience in a similar role;
- Understanding of
financial statements and their construction from the Trial Balance;
- Attention to detail
and accuracy of the numbers;
- Understanding of the
business and its needs. Strategic vison;
- Good Excel skills.
Power BI would be a pus;
- Portuguese and
English.
