We are looking for a Financial Controller, with 2-3 years experience in similar positions, with a strong business oriented mindset. Background in GBS or SSC will be a plus.

Description

• Oversee the financial reporting of different business units, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with group policies
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements while coordinating audits and mitigating financial risks
• Conduct detailed reviews of financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flows to ensure proper financial control and support decision-making
• Act as a key financial contact for business units, collaborating with global teams to ensure strong financial oversight
• Manage and monitor service requests to GBS, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business unit needs while evaluating ongoing processes
• Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring financial transparency and proactively identifying and addressing financial risks
• Assist in financial due diligence, onboarding, and integration of new acquisitions to ensure smooth transitions and compliance with company policies
• Mentor and support financial professionals, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and development initiatives
• Maintain a hybrid work model, balancing on-site collaboration with remote work flexibility

Profile

• Degree in Management, Finance or similar areas
• 2-3 years experience as a financial controller in multinational environments
• Excelent knowledge of financial analysis and reporting, at a Group level
• GBS/SSC bakcground is a plus
• Fluent portuguese and english speaker, good level of spanish
• Great ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, in different regions
