Empresa:
MAN Global Business Services (GBS) Portugal
Descrição da Função
Join us and play an active role in shaping how sustainability regulation is translated into concrete actions within MAN Truck & Bus.
MAN Truck & Bus, a leading European commercial vehicle manufacturer and part of the TRATON Group, is launching a new Global Business Services (GBS) organization structured around three core pillars: Operations, Global Process Ownership, and Strategy & Performance Management. As part of this setup, we are strengthening our ESG and regulatory capabilities and are looking for an ESG Regulatory Coordinator to help build and professionalize this field.
Your Role
As ESG Regulatory Coordinator, you will work at the interface of sustainability regulation, business processes and cross functional coordination. You will be involved in identifying, structuring and assessing sustainability related regulations and in translating regulatory requirements into clear, business relevant inputs.
During an initial onboarding phase, you will work closely with experienced colleagues from Sustainability, Legal and Compliance to build a strong understanding of MAN's regulatory landscape, internal processes and key stakeholders.
As your familiarity with topics and structures grows, you will increasingly work independently, take responsibility for regulatory topics and act as a reliable counterpart for internal functions. This gradual increase in autonomy will allow you to expand your influence and actively contribute to shaping how ESG regulation is managed within MAN's newly established GBS organization.
This role is well suited for ambitious professionals who enjoy building something new, want to take ownership over time and are motivated by increasing responsibility and impact.
Your responsibilities
- Identify, structure and monitor EU and national sustainability regulations relevant for MAN.
- Assess business implications of regulatory requirements and translate them into clear, operationally relevant insights.
- Develop structured analyses, summaries and implementation options to support internal discussions and decision making.
- Coordinate regulatory topics across functions and support sustainability related compliance and implementation activities.
- Work closely with stakeholders across MAN and with other TRATON brands to ensure alignment and leverage best practices.
- Maintain overviews and status tracking of sustainability regulatory topics and implementation progress.
- Prepare and align cross functional inputs, follow up on agreed actions and support effective collaboration.
- Contribute to the further development of structures, workflows and standards within the GBS sustainability setup.
Your profile
Education & Experience:
- University degree in Sustainability, Business Administration, Economics, Law or a comparable field.
- Several years (approx. 3-5) of professional experience in sustainability, regulatory compliance, consulting, operations or a related area.
- Demonstrated involvement in regulatory or compliance related topics, such as ESG regulation, sustainability reporting, due diligence requirements or similar frameworks.
- Sound understanding of processes, governance structures and ways of working in a larger corporate or industrial environment.
- Track record of working across interfaces with functions such as Legal, Sustainability, Operations, Finance or IT.
- Exposure to international or multinational settings.
- Prior involvement in GBS, Shared Services or centralized functions is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Skills & Mindset:
- Strong analytical and structured working style with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently after an initial onboarding phase and to further expand ownership over topics.
- High level of personal drive and ambition to actively shape and build up new structures.
- Confidence in dealing with complexity and navigating cross functional environments.
- Affinity for coordination, process thinking and working with digital collaboration tools.
- Clear, professional communication style in an international context.
- Service oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality and reliability.
- Fluency in English is required; German is an advantage.
