We are looking for a strategic and experienced Safety, Health & Environment Compliance Lead, Europe to join our Group Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) function. The role could be based either in Peiniche, Portugal or Gdynia, Poland.


This is a high-impact regional role where you will drive SHE excellence across multiple plants and offices, ensuring compliance, strengthening standards, and supporting continuous improvement aligned with Thai Union's global strategy.


You will work closely with Business Unit Directors, Plant SHE teams, and Group SHE leadership, reporting directly to the Group SHE Managing Director.


Your Responsibilities

  • Support and execute the BU / regional SHE strategy and improvement roadmap
  • Ensure implementation of Group SHE standards and compliance across all sites
  • Monitor SHE performance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions
  • Lead internal audits, inspections, and support external audit responses
  • Oversee incident management, ensuring effective investigation and prevention
  • Guide and support Plant SHE teams on programs, risk assessments, and best practices
  • Drive SHE capability building through training and development initiatives
  • Lead, coach, and develop Plant SHE Managers, fostering a strong safety culture

About You

  • Strong expertise in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standards and compliance
  • Proven experience in a regional or multi-site SHE role within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and develop teams
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when needed
  • Fluent in English
