Engineering Manager - Solar & EV Charging Projects - Lisbon

The Company is a forward-thinking energy solutions provider, parented by a company with over 40 years of engineering expertise in multi-energy systems. They focus on developing and delivering EPC services in electric mobility, solar PV, battery energy storage, green hydrogen, and biogas. They're especially active in retrofitting petrol stations for EV infrastructure and building solar projects from 1MW to 50MW in size.

The Role: This is a hands-on Engineering Manager role, leading technical delivery, process optimization, and team coordination across solar PV and EV charging infrastructure projects. It combines project oversight, technical leadership, and team management, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate EPC projects in solar PV (1-50MW) and EV charging infrastructure.

• Oversee the retrofitting of petrol stations with EV charging capabilities.

• Manage engineering teams and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of projects.

• Optimize installation and maintenance processes.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and technical standards.

• Drive innovation and technical excellence across internal operations.

Ideal Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in engineering, ideally with solar PV and/or EV charging projects.

• Experience leading cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, PVSol, and/or PVsyst.

• Strong project management mindset and ability to work collaboratively with operations, R&D, and finance teams.

• Fluent in Portuguese.
