Our client is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining client´s technology infrastructure and software systems.

This role requires proven leadership and team management skills combined with a technical background.

Description

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

Technical Oversight:

• Guide technology strategy, system design and architectural decisions.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and assess their applicability.

Portfolio Management

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of software engineering projects or products, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and priorities.

Operational Excellence:

• Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance and reliability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with different managers, stakeholders, and other department leads.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Serve as a liaison between the engineering team and executive leadership.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing and leading software engineering teams.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Deep understanding of software architecture.
• Programming languages (Java, .Net, JavaScript, REACT, etc).
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
• Good level of English.
