Employer Engagement Specialist
Job Summary: You will play a crucial part in connecting with employers to bring job, internship and networking opportunities to our students, and organizing events that enhance their career development. This position is ideal for a proactive, relationship-driven professional who can engage with a diverse range of companies and industries to build partnerships that support our students' career success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with local and/or international employers, as well as Alumni to create hiring and professional development opportunities for our students and recent graduates.
- Plan, organize, and implement career events, including job fairs, workshops, information sessions and networking events.
- Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, venue arrangements, system updates, participant enrollment, attendance tracking, and providing assistance to both students and employers to ensure effective execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance employer engagement efforts and ensure career events align with industry trends and student interests.
- Identify and actively source job, internship, and networking opportunities that align with student career interests and goals.
- Facilitate job postings and track applications to maximize reach and outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date records and databases of employer contacts, job postings, events, and student placements.
- Monitor job market trends and stay informed about industry developments to effectively adapt outreach strategies.
- Support student clubs with event coordination, budget management and other tasks as needed.
- Develop and manage efficient systems for information sharing with stakeholders.
- Collect and analyze feedback from employers and students to continuously improve career programming.
- Provide regular KPI reports, evaluate results, and create action plans.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in International Relations, Communication, Human Resources, Marketing or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, customer service, event management, or a similar field.
- Fluent English is a must (C1 or C2). Professional German is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative, positive attitude, and willingness to take initiative.
- Availability for occasional travel and after-hours events, as required.
