Position: Embedded Systems Engineer

Location: Hybrid (Lisbon - 2x at the office)

What You'll Do:

• Set up and manage Yocto Project for i.MX8MP (recipes, builds, patches, BitBake issues);

• Customize Embedded Linux: kernel, device trees, U-Boot, kernel modules;

• Optimize real-time performance (Jailhouse, NXP Bare Metal, FreeRTOS, ZephyrOS);

• Test and integrate peripherals: SPI, UART, QSPI, GPIO, RPMsg;

• Work on inter-core communication and interrupt handling;

• Modify schematics and PCB designs using OrCAD.

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience in embedded systems;

• Strong C/C++ skills;

• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, ZephyrOS);

• Expertise in Embedded Linux (user space, kernel, U-Boot, drivers, device tree);

• Proficiency with Yocto Project and BitBake;

• Solid knowledge of ARM (Cortex-M/A), especially NXP;

• Familiar with OrCAD and PCB/schematic design;

• Experience with protocols: SPI, QSPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, RPMsg;

• Fluent in English.
