Senior Electrical Project Manager / Electrical Lead

Location: Onsite - Portugal (10/4 Rotation)

This leading contractor are seeking an Electrical Lead to join their expanding team across Europe

A great opportunity to work for a market leading contractor with a fantastic reputation in the market who are experts in the delivery of mission critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Electrical Engineers
• Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completion
• Display commercial astuteness
• Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials
• Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information
• Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner
• Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team
• Oversee highest quality of health and safety

Requirements

• Bachelors' degree in Engineering or relevant area
• Strong knowledge of procurement
• Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
• Experience in effectively leading MEP teams is essential
• Experience in the delivery in Data Center MEP projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
