Since our establishment in 2005, we accompany our clients in all areas of railway including: signaling and control systems, rolling stock, low voltage and telecommunications, high voltage and infrastructure.

Context :

IKOS is constantly seeking Electrical Railway Engineers keen to take part in our missions throughout their country (Portugal) or abroad (all EU, depending on languages skills).

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for railway infrastructure, including rolling stock, signaling, traction power, and communication systems;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components;
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses for electrical projects;
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation;
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems;
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during project execution;
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
• Proven experience in rail electrical engineering projects;
• Experience in electrical design software;
• Familiarity with CAD tools for electrical design;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
• Passion for contributing to sustainable and efficient rail transportation.
