CTS Group SA is looking for an experienced, innovative, and resourceful professional to join our team in our office in Lisbon. This position is a full-time position.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
• Juniors - Minimum 3 years.
• Intermediate- Minimum 5 years.
• Senior - Minimum 8 years with 2+ years of work experience leading the design of data centers or other comparable mission-critical infrastructure.
• Preferably Proficient or Knowledge in some of the following software's:
• ETAP - for power systems modeling and analysis.
• EPLAN - for electrical schematic and control panel design.
• Revit - for BIM modeling and coordination.
• DIALux - for lighting simulation and design.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E).
• Familiarity with Tier classifications (Uptime Institute) and redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Experience in mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers, telecom, hospitals).
• Exposure to HV/MV substations, switchgear layouts, and BMS integration.
• Knowledge of digital twin concepts or energy monitoring systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory. Other Languages are also a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills and a positive, pro-active attitude.

We are looking for someone who:

• Design and develop electrical systems for mission-critical data centers, including power distribution, grounding, lighting, and standby power.
• Create and manage detailed single-line diagrams, schematics, and panel schedules using EPLAN and Revit.
• Perform power system analysis (short circuit, load flow, arc flash, protection coordination) using ETAP.
• Develop and validate lighting and emergency lighting designs using DIALux.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure accurate integration of electrical systems into data center designs.
• Participate in peer design reviews, and ensure adherence to industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.).
• Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, and BOQs.
• Support commissioning teams and respond to RFIs during construction phases.
• Maintain compliance with local electrical codes and global data center design standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data center power systems.
• Interact with design partners from other engineering disciplines.
