The Director of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of all engineering systems within the hospitality and leisure department. Description

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of all engineering systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism sector.
• Develop and manage the department's budget and resources efficiently.
• Coordinate with other departments to address engineering and maintenance needs.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Lead and mentor the engineering team to achieve operational excellence.
• Evaluate and recommend upgrades to systems and infrastructure.
• Ensure environmental sustainability practices are integrated into engineering operations.

Profile

Degree or Technical Certification in Engineering, Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field;

Proven experience in an engineering leadership role within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry;

Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards;

Excellent organizational and project management skills;

Ability to lead and develop a team effectively;

Proficiency in managing budgets and financial resources;

Commitment to sustainability and energy-efficient practices;

Fluent in English.
