Were looking for a passionate and skilled DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to join our Clients team and help scale a high-performance platform across multiple geographies. If you enjoy working with cutting-edge technologies, automating infrastructure, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams this role is for you!

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor distributed systems using Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible
• Build and manage code containers with Docker
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools in Python
• Provide technical support to development teams and platform operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability and reliability
• Manage large-scale clusters (8 Petabytes, 22 Terabytes RAM, multi-location on-premises)
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD/GitOps pipelines and related services
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Kubernetes, Ansible, and Docker
• Monitor and optimize performance of clusters, databases, and distributed services
• Ensure infrastructure security, availability, and compliance (backups, certificates, access control)
• Create and maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure and operational processes

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Python, and Git
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems and networking
• Understanding of web application and infrastructure security

Valued Skills & Knowledge

• Experience with eLearning platforms, especially Open edX
• Familiarity with web archiving platforms
• Knowledge of databases and storage MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, S3, ClickHouse
• CI/CD tools GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins
• Monitoring & logging tools Icinga, Cacti, Grafana, Sentry, Uptime Robot, Victoria Logs, Vector
• Other tools & services Apache Superset, RichieCMS, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, pywb, Open Wayback
• Experience with Git and Docker repositories
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving attitude
• Interest in open-source technologies and continuous learning
