Mission of the role
To act as a key member of deal team, supporting all aspects of financing and investing activities from strategic structuring through execution. The role is responsible for developing robust financial models to assess project viability and investment / financing attractiveness, engaging with banks, investors, and advisors to secure competitive funding solutions, and working cross-functionally to ensure financial strategies are fully aligned with business objectives and market conditions.
Main Accountabilities
- Be an integral part of deal team by participating in all aspects of financing from strategy through to execution.
- Conducting financial modelling and analysis to assess project viability and investment potential.
- Engaging with banks, investors, and advisors to secure competitive funding solutions.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to align financial strategies with business goals and market conditions.
Qualifications
- +5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure funds, project finance, or similar investment-focused environments.
- Proven track record in structuring and executing M&A and project finance transactions, particularly in renewable energy or infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with non-recourse financing structures, lender negotiations, and transaction execution.
- Experience across renewable technologies (solar, wind, storage, etc.) is highly valued.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
Academic Background
Degree in Finance, Engineering or Business Management.
Skills needed
- Strong communication skills with ability to effectively interface with sophisticated investors, other team members, stakeholders and senior management.
- Strong quantitative, financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills .
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish (preferential)
