Responsibilities


  • Administer and maintain SQL Server environments in production, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Manage and operate SQL Server OLTP environments, including AlwaysOn Availability Groups and Azure SQL.
  • Perform database performance analysis, query optimization, and tuning.
  • Conduct application-level troubleshooting in .NET and IIS-based environments, working closely with development teams.
  • Ensure high standards of documentation quality, accuracy, and technical compliance.
  • Act autonomously in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex technical issues.

  • Requirements


    • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in SQL Server Database Administration roles.
    • Advanced knowledge of:
    • SQL Server OLTP
    • AlwaysOn Availability Groups
    • Azure SQL
    • Proven experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge of OLAP and SSIS (preferred).
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure environments (preferred).
    • Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and attention to detail.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken).
    • European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
