We are looking for a Database Administrator to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Almada (Margem Sul).

Responsibilities:

• Perform database administration tasks including access management, installations, upgrades, migrations, encryption setup, replication, and backups.
• Conduct troubleshooting and performance optimization activities for diverse database environments.
• Ensure security, high availability, and data integrity across Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support for database-related incidents.

Requirements (Mandatory):

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Database Administration and troubleshooting, preferably with experience in managing multiple database engines.
• Proficiency in Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Legal authorization to work and reside in Portugal.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Availability to travel for assignments, with travel costs covered (including per diem).

Preference (Nice to Have):

• Administrator Certified Professional (certification).
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, DataGuard, Exadata, and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with RAC and Grid Infrastructure for Oracle databases.
