The Data Warehouse Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs. This role is based in Porto and is within the financial services industry.

Description

• Design and implement data warehouse solutions to meet business requirements.
• Develop, test, and optimize ETL processes for data integration.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of data stored in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define data requirements: Operations, Finance, Comercial and Compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, processes, and workflows.
• Monitor and enhance the performance of data warehouse systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and analytics.

Profile

A successful Data Warehouse Developer should have:

• About 3 to 5 years experience in data warehouse design and development.
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools and processes., data modelling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Mart), Tools: SIS, Azure Data Factory, dbt;
• Cloud: Azure (Synapse, Data Factory), AWS, GCP
• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
