Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join one of our Nearshote teams working on projects for international clients accross The Netherlands, Germany and other European locations.

You will operate in an international, multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with Data Engineers, Software Developers, and other specialists to bridge data, technology, and business needs.

What you will do:

• Identify trends and patterns that create predictive value for clients.
• Transform raw data into high-quality features for modelling.
• Detect irregularities and provide actionable insights to optimise processes.
• Design, train, and validate ML models (classification, clustering, regression).
• Develop mathematical and statistical optimisation models.
• Visualise findings and present insights to support client decision-making.
• Research and experiment with new approaches to maximise value from data.

What you are like:

• Solid knowledge of common ML algorithms (decision trees, Bayesian methods, ensemble models, regularisation techniques).
• Experience with deep learning and neural networks.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R, and advanced SQL.
• Familiarity with CRISP-DM methodology and data mining techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Machine Learning, Hadoop/HDInsight, and Power BI.
• Excellent communicator with strong command of English.
