Your new role

As a Data Scientist specializing in Computer Vision, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing computer vision algorithms and models. You will work on a variety of projects involving image and video analysis, leveraging your expertise to extract meaningful insights and create innovative solutions.

Responsibilities 
• Design, develop, and implement computer vision algorithms for image and video analysis, including object, event, and change detection, recognition, segmentation, and tracking.
• Train and optimize machine learning models using large datasets, ensuring high accuracy and performance.
• Perform data preprocessing tasks such as image augmentation, normalization, and annotation to prepare datasets for training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy computer vision models into production environments and ensure their robustness and scalability.


What You Will Need to Succeed

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
•3+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on computer vision.
•Strong programming skills in Python and C++ and experience with frameworks and libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, TensorRT, PyTorch, and Keras.
•Experience with ML tools such as FiftyOne and annotation tools such as CVAT.
•Experience with relevant deep learning models such as YOLO.
•Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning frameworks.
•Experience with image and video processing techniques.
•Experience with experimentation platforms such as Jupyter Notebooks.
•Knowledge of data preprocessing and augmentation techniques for computer vision tasks.
•Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI services, with a focus on Google Cloud.
•Experience in getting Machine Learning products into production.
•Basic knowledge of DevOps best practices and tools: GIT, CI/CD, telemetry, and monitoring, etc.
