Description

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of an enterprise-wide data governance framework across a complex international environment;
  • Define data standards, policies, ownership models, and governance processes to ensure consistency, quality, and accountability;
  • Act as the subject matter expert for key master data domains, establishing controls, validation rules, workflows, and stewardship practices;
  • Partner with business and technology teams to align data structures, reporting requirements, and enterprise applications;
  • Drive data quality initiatives through KPI monitoring, issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and remediation programs;
  • Maintain data lineage, metadata documentation, business glossaries, and data catalogues to support transparency and governance maturity;
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of master data, including creation, maintenance, change management, and retirement processes;
  • Lead data harmonisation and cleansing initiatives to improve reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and cross-functional integration;
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, security standards, and audit expectations;
  • Facilitate governance forums, stakeholder engagement, training initiatives, and organisational adoption of best practices;
  • Promote a strong culture of data ownership, stewardship, and continuous improvement across the business;
  • Support strategic transformation initiatives by translating business requirements into scalable data management solutions.

Profile

  • 6+ years of experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, or Enterprise Data Management;
  • Proven track record of establishing or enhancing data governance frameworks within complex organisations;
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, master data management, metadata management, and data quality methodologies;
  • Experience managing multiple data domains and driving organisation-wide governance initiatives;
  • Ability to bridge business and technology teams, translating complex requirements into practical solutions;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, process-oriented mindset;
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders in cross-functional and international environments;
  • Knowledge of data protection, compliance, risk management, and information governance practices;
  • Solid project delivery experience across both Agile and traditional project methodologies;
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills;
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and business impact;
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline;
  • Professional fluency in English.
