We are looking for a Data Engineer passionate about transforming data into insights and promoting a data-driven culture.
In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data solutions that support smarter decision-making and business growth.
MAIN TASKS:
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Translate business needs into actionable insights through reports and dashboards.
- Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines.
- Build and maintain clean and efficient data models.
- Deliver engaging Power BI dashboards to drive data understanding and support key decisions.
- Provide training and promote best practices around Power BI and data visualization.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience with Power BI (required).
- Strong analytical skills to interpret large datasets and identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Minimum English level B2 (mandatory).
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Availability for occasional short-term travel abroad.
Nice to Have
- Experience building or maintaining ETL pipelines.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation or automation.
- Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, and Microsoft Azure.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- French language skills (a plus).
- Hybrid role based in Porto.
