Position: Data Center Architect

We are looking for a Data Center Architect with strong technical expertise to design and deliver innovative solutions that enable industrialisation, improve productivity, efficiency, and reduce time-to-market.

A key focus of this role is to monitor, analyse, and optimise the performance and capacity of environments, ensuring stable, scalable, and future-proof architectures that support both IT and Business objectives.

Work model: Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite (Porto)


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative, scalable architecture solutions to support industrialisation and operational efficiency
  • Monitor and optimise performance, availability, and capacity across infrastructure environments
  • Contribute to and deliver end-to-end IT projects, covering architecture, design, development, operations, and governance
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define optimal architectures for applications and infrastructure
  • Lead and coordinate process improvement and re-engineering initiatives following technical reviews
  • Ensure system and code architectures meet compatibility, scalability, and reliability standards
  • Debug and optimise code, automating repetitive tasks and reducing manual effort
  • Maintain and continuously improve technical documentation


Your Profile

Strong technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • Security practices across Windows and Linux systems and supporting infrastructure
  • DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD implementation
  • IaaS production environments (systems, networks, End User Computing)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • CI/CD pipelines and tooling (GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, etc.)

Languages & frameworks:

  • Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js
  • Angular, React
  • SQL, Bash / Shell scripting

Professional experience:

  • Proven experience delivering software or infrastructure development projects
  • Background in process optimisation, re-engineering, and root-cause analysis
  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments with evolving priorities
