We're looking for a Data Architect - Lisboa/Porto

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for a Data Architect to join an international IT team supporting systems and data platforms.

You will be part of an international community of data architects, contributing to how data is designed, governed, and leveraged across critical business and regulatory use cases.

Professional Experience & Main Tasks

• Partner with business and IT project teams to guide data management and data architecture activities
• Design and review logical and physical data models, data dictionaries, and catalog entries
• Ensure data designs comply with data governance, privacy, and security standards (e.g. BCBS 239, GDPR, CCPA)
• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the Enterprise Data Model
• Perform data assessments for new applications and IT assets, including cloud deployments and data exchanges
• Manage metadata, data lineage, and master data relationships using enterprise architecture tools
• Collaborate with Data Quality teams to resolve issues impacting reporting and analytics
• Deliver training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops on data management best practices
• Support recertification, decommissioning, and archiving activities to keep architecture records accurate

Skills & Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in data architecture or data management
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, governance, and metadata
• Experience with data governance/catalog tools (Collibra, Informatica, MS Purview)
• Familiarity with banking or regulated environments
• Experience with cloud, encryption, and standard data formats

Language Requirement

• English - B2
