Your new role

There is a requirement for experienced Data Analysts to join the Reporting and Analytics CoE to provide insights and maximise the business value from Kantar’s data.The role will be working with teams across the business to identify and evaluate opportunities for improvements using data insights and monitoring progress using advance analytical techniques within a dynamic and evolving business environment. The Data Analysts will be required to execute the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring reporting and analytics drives insights and business performance across Kantar’s internal and external stakeholders.

  • Hands-on in building reporting and analytical requirements and solutions using data that is generated within Kantar’s Business Systems.

  • Performing complex data analysis from multiple sources using a variety of techniques and tools.

  • Consulting with business partners to understand the underlying causes in data assumptions and drawing on business knowledge to identify areas of opportunities.

  • Support the build, development and maintenance of data models, reporting platforms, dashboard and performance metrics which support key business decisions.

  • Play a key role in driving the transformation required in Kantar’s data platforms to increase the maturity of Kantar’s analytical capability and achieve a data driven organisation.

  • Collaborate closely with the KBS Business Systems Reporting team in building a data governance framework and data quality assurance processes.

  • Support Demand and Incident Management processes designed by the Business Systems Reporting Team.

  • Support the KBS Reporting and Analytics lead in the stabilisation and growth of KBS Reporting & Analytics CoE, including the on-going transition of additional services into KBS and the development of internal capabilities within the wider organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree level education in Business Administration/Finance or equivalent.

  • Ability to build and present business insights at the enterprise, division, and market level with lenses on other key demographics, such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, for executive level review.

  • Deep understanding of the following:

    • Cloud Analytical Platforms (Azure SQL, GCP, AWS Redshift)

    • Analytical and Visualisation tools (Qlikview, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx or Business Objects)

    • Knowledge of coding languages such as SQL, Python or R

    • Microsoft Excel

  • Awareness of:

    • ERP Reporting Platforms (SAP, Oracle, IFS)

    • Budgeting and Financial Consolidation Solutions (Onestream, SAP BPC, Anaplan, Hyperion HFM)

  • Historical delivery of advanced analytical solutions that demonstrate the ability to work with large and complex data sets to build analysis, visualise data and deliver business insights & commentary.

  • Proven experience succeeding in complex, matrix and cross functional projects with the ability to inspire and influence across the organisation.

  • Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management.

  • Adapts to changing objectives and priorities to deliver results.
