Internship Objective:

Design, develop, and validate AI-powered intelligent agents and automation workflows to support regulatory compliance, quality documentation, and operational efficiency in Life Sciences environments.


Internship Description

The intern will work on the development of agent-based solutions leveraging Generative AI and automation platforms, applied to regulated (GxP) environments. The project focuses on real-world Life Sciences use cases, balancing innovation with compliance and data security constraints.

Key activities include:

  • Design and testing of agentic workflows for validated environments
  • Automation of regulatory and quality processes, such as:
  • Regulatory document analysis and summarization
  • SOP drafting, versioning, and control
  • CAPA and deviation tracking
  • Audit readiness and metadata validation
  • Training compliance monitoring
  • Change control impact assessment
  • Integration with enterprise platforms (e.g. JIRA, SharePoint, TrackWise, LMS)
  • Exploration of secure deployment models (local execution, AWS)
  • Handling constraints related to sensitive data and compliance boundaries


Technologies & Tools

  • Generative Engine Platform (Generative AI / multi-modal workflows)
  • LLM-powered Intelligent Agents
  • n8n - workflow automation and system integration
  • GxP Compliance Frameworks (regulated environments)
  • Enterprise tools integration (JIRA, SharePoint, TrackWise, LMS)
  • Secure deployment concepts (local / cloud)


Candidate Profile

  • Student enrolled in Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or similar degree
  • Eligible for a curricular (mandatory) internship
  • Interest in Generative AI, intelligent agents, and automation
  • Motivation to work in regulated Life Sciences environments
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail


Learning Outcomes

Hands-on experience at the intersection of Generative AI, automation, and Life Sciences, with exposure to GxP compliance, audit readiness, enterprise integrations, and secure AI deployment, applied to real healthcare and pharmaceutical challenges.
