Your next role:

Contribute to setting up financial reporting, budget control, control and planning policies for the assigned unit/functional area as well as analyze financial data and results formulate recommendations to improve accuracy and efficiency of the reporting process.

-Provide Periodic Financial Reporting for the production site:

• Coordination of monthly closing and responsibility for the preparation of corresponding reporting packages.
• Investigation of variances between budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy of reporting.
• Review and consolidation of inventory related topics (inventory levels, slow moving, aging, valuation …

- Budgeting and Forecasting of production site:

• Directing the development and presentation of budgets, forecasts, statements, metric scorecards and reports to enhance business decisions and drive operational efficiency.
• Developing and maintenance of the forecasting and budgeting tools and processes.
• Directing the annual revaluation process.

-Support Regional Head of Controlling to drive the business performance analysis:

• Analyzing processes identification and analysis of potential risk areas. Drafting proposals for prevention, mitigation and correction of risk, particularly on inventory related topics.

-Reporting and driving of Working Capital:

• Assets protection and utilization with focus on Inventory, capital expenses and Accounts Payable management, including throughput and guidance to the operational teams in optimizing the financial results.
• Challenge the supply chain team around inventory levels and variances versus planned levels.

-Support in External Audit with information and guidance of process flows:

• Providing needed documentation and response towards internal and external audit.
• Working on audit non-conformities items in order to correct any identified problems or concerns.
• Key role in compliance with all regulatory, industry and corporate financial/accounting practices and standards.

-Support in Investment files:

• Reviewing capital expense requests to ensure that funds are being requested in accordance with corporate guidelines and meet financial NPV/IRR tests.
• Post-calculation of past investments.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Master Economics/Finance/Controlling/Accounting.
• Experience in financial controlling or reporting area in a production area of at least 2-3 years
• Fluent written and spoken English (obligatory) and German (preferential).
• Availability for limited travel is required.
