Multinational group is looking for a Financial Controller, who is a Certified Accountant, with 3 years experience, to join the team.

Description

• Lead the implementation of the Regional Finance strategy, encompassing finance-focused initiatives in Portugal
• Act as a strategic partner to the Managing Director, and collaborate closely with other local departments
• Oversee the annual business planning and forecasting processes for Portugal
• Guarantee the accuracy of local financial records in alignment with local regulations
• Oversee the process for the annual legal audit
• Develop reports and presentations to guide the management of the Portuguese operations
• Manage the monthly accounting close process and provide financial reports to the headquarters
• Contribute to ad hoc analyses for business expansions, acquisitions, and the integration of new entities
• Evaluate investment proposals and oversee the preparation of investment approval requests

Profile

• Degree in Finance, Management, Accounting or similar areas
• 3 years experience as a Financial Specialist/Controller
• Certified Accountant - mandatory
• Background on industrial or logistics operations is important
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Hands on approach
• Fluent in english
• Good ERP knowledge
