How You'll Make an Impact
- Advise on contract planning and execution for major construction projects, ensuring all agreements meet Siemens Energy standards and sustainability guidelines.
- Lead contract negotiations with contractors and suppliers, manage disputes, and support claim resolution to protect project interests.
- Identify and manage contracting risks, participate in risk workshops, and define effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth contract management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Capture and share knowledge from past projects to improve contracting procedures and risk management for future initiatives.
- Ensure all contracts comply with local legal, operational, and Siemens Energy regulations, including safety and sustainability requirements.
- Provide contract management expertise to the Real Estate (RE) community and support continuous improvement of contracting strategies.
Profile
What You Bring
- 3-5 years' experience in contract management for construction projects of industrial facilities, ideally in international and multicultural environments.
- Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, contract forms, risk management, and contract negotiations in industrial construction.
- Proven ability to implement high-quality contract management processes.
- Experience working in multinational, multicultural teams.
- Master's degree or equivalent in construction engineering, civil engineering, MEP engineering, architecture, or a related field.
