Airbus Atlantic Portugal is currently recruiting for its site in Santo Tirso - Porto. To reinforce the AAOS Department, we have one opportunity to integrate the team as AAOS Agent (Continuous Improvement Agent). The position will report directly to the AAOS Manager.

 

MAIN TASKS AND MISSION

• Assure AAOS Maturity growth roadmap definition and follow up;
• Tools and standards implementation;
• Running projects or continuous improvement processes, leading the necessary planification, routines and outputs;
• Training and coaching AAOS tools operators, First Line Managers (FLM) and MFT, through on-the-job training, etc;
• Act as UAP focal point and establish the link with AAOS manager, operational FLM, MFT and operators in the respective area.
• Co-facilitate building AAOS Roadmap with MFT;
• Measure and report maturity (KPIs, activities and self-assessment);
• Participate in industrial assessments;
• Co-facilitate kaizen AAOS workshops and AAOS trainings;
• Launch & participate in management MFT routines, providing structured feedback through routines;
• Benchmark and exchange good practices with other AAOS Agents.

PROFILE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Global view of Operational Excellence principles and Lean Management System;
• Experience on implementing Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma principles, methods and tools;
• Ability to train and coach AAOS Standards and other specific Lean Manufacturing tools with associated routines;
• Understanding of change management basics and ability to adapt ways of tutoring accordingly;
• Ability to provide structured feedback to leaders on routines of management and performance dialogue;
• Ability to identify deviations from standards and propose simple recommendations through self-assessment.
• Organisation, leadership, teamwork, proactivity and integrity;
• Promote speak-up;
• Focus on customer.
• Around 4 years of experience (internships/work placements accepted) in implementing continuous improvement/lean projects or in an industrial operations position.
• Portuguese current; English fluent (mandatory); French conversational ( a plus).
