About Maven

Maven is a boutique real estate investment and legal advisory firm headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal. We work with global clients seeking to invest in Portuguese real estate, relocate, or obtain residency through programs such as the Golden Visa.

We're seeking a Content & Community Manager to help grow Maven's presence in the North American market. While the role focuses on a North American audience, we are specifically looking for a team member based in Portugal.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for building and managing Maven's content and online community strategy targeting a North American audience. This includes creating engaging videos, managing social media, hosting webinars, and supporting our client relations pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Develop high-quality short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn)
• Write blog posts, newsletters, and articles focused on real estate, relocation, and lifestyle in Portugal
• Adapt messaging for North American cultural context while aligning with Maven's brand

Social Media & Community Management

• Own content calendars and execution across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
• Monitor engagement, gather feedback, and optimize strategy accordingly

Webinars & Client Events

• Organize and moderate webinars targeting high-net-worth individuals in the U.S. and Canada
• Collaborate with our legal and property teams to provide valuable, compliant information
• Assist in virtual events and expos when needed (no international travel required)

Client Engagement & Support

• Support the early stages of client onboarding, helping qualify and inform leads
• Maintain relationships with prospective clients, answering FAQs and guiding them to the right Maven services

Who You Are

• Based in Portugal.
• 3+ years of experience in content creation, marketing, or communications
• Skilled video creator with a confident on-camera presence (samples appreciated)
• Native English speaker (or equivalent fluency), with deep understanding of North American culture
• Strong writing and social media management skills
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Skills

• Background in real estate, investment, or relocation industries
• Experience hosting webinars or virtual events
• Knowledge of Portuguese Golden Visa or D7/D8 residency options
• Basic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools)
• Portuguese language skills (not required)
