Descrição da Função

Components Technician Portugal & Spain Permanent Position

TARCG is supporting a well-established and growing MRO organisation in their search for Electro-Mechanical Components Technicians to join their team at sites in Portugal and Spain.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced technicians to join a forward-thinking, quality-driven organisation with a strong reputation in aircraft component repair. You'll be working as part of a highly skilled MRO team, focused on delivering safe, compliant, and efficient repairs.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for the repair and overhaul of electro-mechanical aircraft components, following approved data and procedures. This includes ensuring the use of correct tooling, maintaining documentation standards, and always prioritising safety and quality. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out component-level repairs using approved technical data (e.g., manuals, bulletins, airworthiness directives).
  • Ensure compliance with EASA and EMAR regulations, as well as internal repair station procedures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete relevant documentation.
  • Work safely and professionally, whether in the main workshop or on off-site tasks.
  • Inspect incoming parts and equipment, ensuring they meet airworthiness standards before use.
  • Ensure all tooling is properly calibrated and maintained.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in component MRO or a similar technical role.
  • Solid mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and parts catalogues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to strict quality standards.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Desirable:

  • Technical degree or recognised qualifications in aircraft maintenance or engineering.
  • Familiarity with receiving inspections and regulatory documentation.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to travel occasionally if needed.

This is a long-term, full-time position with competitive conditions and the chance to develop within a growing operation. If you're looking for a new challenge in Portugal or Spain and meet the criteria above, we'd love to hear from you. Please send your updated resume to Vicki Senner at
