Adecco Permanent Recruitment is looking for a Compliance Officer (m/f) to join a leading company in Lisbon, Portugal, with a planned start date in early 2026.

Profile

• Law degree required;
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Compliance, ideally within the capital markets sector;
• Solid understanding of structured products and financial instruments;
• Proven track record of working with or liaising with CMVM or equivalent regulatory bodies;
• Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, and other core compliance functions;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken;
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills;
• Based in Lisbon or willing to relocate.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage KYC/AML processes, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations;
• Lead the onboarding process for institutional and professional investors, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience;
• Act as the main point of contact with regulatory authorities, including CMVM and other relevant bodies;
• Stay up to date with regulations affecting capital markets, with a particular focus on structured products;
• Ensure company policies and procedures remain compliant with current regulatory frameworks.
