Compliance Officer – Lisbon (m/f) |
Our client is a leading multinational company in the financial sector, with a strong international presence, seeking a Compliance Officer to join their team in Lisbon.
| | | Responsibilities:
• Support the Head of Compliance in developing and maintaining a robust and harmonized compliance framework across the EU, with a focus on GwG, WpIG, MaRisk, MaComp, and MiFID II;
• Ensure regulatory compliance with key regulations;
• Develop and maintain Compliance Policies, Procedures, and Manuals;
• Monitor compliance processes and perform risk-based control activities;
• Support client onboarding;
• Prepare and support regulatory reporting to local Management and Head Office;
• Conduct risk-based monitoring and define mitigation measures;
• Act as a key advisor on Financial Crime and Compliance matters, including policy design, training, and daily advisory;
• Serve as a main contact for internal and external auditors, in coordination with the local Head of Compliance/MLRO.
| | Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field;
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Compliance and/or Financial Crime roles within financial services or audit firms;
• Solid knowledge of EU financial regulations, including GwG, WpIG, BaFin AuA, MaRisk, MiFID II, MaComp, WpHG, and PRIPs;
• Experience designing and implementing compliance programs and policies;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Experience interacting with regulators and auditors;
• Fluency in German and English.
