BGI is looking to recruit a Communications & Digital Marketing Associate to join our innovative, fast-paced, creative, and mission-driven team in May.

Roles and Responsibilities
We seek a dynamic professional with a keen understanding of digital marketing strategies and creative storytelling abilities to reach our multiple stakeholders and allow us to consistently deliver the best results.
What you'll do:
Develop and manage engaging content across digital channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, newsletters, blogs, )
Design and implement social media strategies to build awareness and drive engagement for BGI and our European Union-funded programmes
Create compelling content, stories, and multimedia content (written, visual, video) that showcase the impact of entrepreneurs, startups, founders, and innovation projects we coordinate and develop
Create impactful content for BGI's institutional Website, Newsletter, and Presentations
Lead the development and implementation of integrated communication campaigns by collaborating with designers, videographers, and programme managers to plan and execute campaigns and reach our goals
Dynamically manage and consistently grow digital communities around our brands and European innovation initiatives
Develop and deliver content calendars to ensure our programs communicate strategic consistency and impact
Develop reporting and analytics reports on the programs we deliver
You should have:
2-3 years of hands-on experience in digital communications, marketing, and social media management
Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills (in English and Portuguese )
Experience using and creating content for social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook .)
A keen eye for design and an understanding of brand management and its consistency requirements
Familiarity with European Union-funded projects (EIT, Horizon, ) and/or innovation ecosystems is a big plus
A self-starter, autonomous attitude, team spirit, and creativity to drive and reach results
Experience using tools like Canva, Sendpulse, Google Tools, Office tools (Excel), Meta Business Suite, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Education: University degree/master's in Marketing/Digital Marketing, Communicatio,n or a related field.
Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Portuguese (spoken and written).
